Handcrafted by designer and maker Zach Hays, the Gapless Lightweave LED Hula Hoop was developed in 2021 after years of customer feedback and requests. The result is a smooth, balanced LED hoop with virtually no dark gap, simple controls, and convenient rechargeable batteries.
Whether you're flow arts beginner or an experienced hooper, the Lightweave combines bright patterns, intuitive controls, and durable construction in a lightweight design.

When first powered on, the hoop enters Cycle Mode, automatically changing patterns every 15–20 seconds.
🎛 Simple One-Button Mode Control
The Lightweave was designed to be easy to use, even while spinning.
Button Functions
Press once – Stop Cycle Mode and stay on the current pattern.
Press again – Advance forward one mode.
Hold for 2 seconds, then release – Go back one mode.
Hold for 5 seconds – Enter Low Brightness Mode for longer battery life.
Hold another 5 seconds – Return to full brightness.
No complicated menus or programming required.
🔘 Dedicated Power Switch
A separate white push-button power switch makes turning the hoop on and off quick and reliable.
Push until it clicks to turn the hoop ON
Push again until it clicks to turn the hoop OFF
Because power and mode controls are separate, accidental shutoffs during use are minimized.
🔋 Rechargeable Internal Battery
Each hoop uses a single internal rechargeable battery and is carefully balanced for smooth spinning and continuous illumination.
The battery is positioned opposite the connection clasp to provide:
